Looking back over my recent posts I note the extreme lack of an explicit shout-out of Spacetrawler. Whoops! A mistake I've now rectified. Written by the effervescent Chrisopher Baldwin, it's high adventure and humor in the depths of the galaxy. I was finally able to meet Chris in person at APE and it went far in compensating for the otherwise not-so-wonderful APE experience. His Spacetrawler saga is well worth a look. So go look!
And it seems as if I've succeeded in removing that rotten SPAM ad from my site. Unfortunately, the fix was akin to what's needed to remove the Blob once it has grabbed hold of you. Namely, chop off whatever part of your body it grabbed on to. So I've had to remove my biggest ad server in order to remove the parasite. Unfortunate, to say the least. Ah well, that's life in our modern world, I guess.
Yeah, I learned a while back to be leery of ad houses that don’t maintain a tight rein on their clients. (BTW, I get more out of PW by setting higher minimum bids – $2.50 US and $1 CA.)
