I came across this image a couple of days back and it's just so … curious. As in – "What in the world were they saying there?!"
Maybe – "You can try, but you can't outrace death."
Or – "If you want to win, you'll need to take your foot off the ground and start pedaling!"

My spouse says its a death day photo. In the old days they would take a picture of the dead one with family. Apparently this one ended up in either a fire of was found long after he died. My mom on the other hand says it something like “greeting death like a gentleman” .
