You know, I find it amusing. Even though Elf isn't really an elf, his text in his book reminds me of an anime I watched years ago called Elf Princess Rane, in which the elves language really did sound like that.
Also, yes people persecute too soon and too easily the things which they do not understand. It's really quite sad to think that we have so far to go as a whole.

The funny thing about politics/radicals/extremists/etc. is that the more they have in common with their "enemy" the more they hate them.
