C’mon to APE

APE, also known as the Alternative Press Expo, is happening next weekend (Oct 16,17) at the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco (635 8th St) and Nicky510 will be there. You can read all about APE here: APE

We'll be sharing a table with Squidrowcomics and having a good old time. So if you're anywhere near the area, drop on by to say hi, peruse Nicky art and Nicky books (including the new, just received today, Looking For Answers!)  and soak up all the comic culture. Our locale is table 135, as easy to remember as 123 (except that you use the odd numbers only).

Nicky510 load problem fixed

Hi everyone. This morning you might have gotten the message that you were being sent a zipped file (and did you want to open it) when you visited Nicky510. It wasn't a virus or malware (whew!). What it was was my supercache program acting weird. That's a program that stores lots of the Nicky510 content in a quickly loading form so my server doesn't get overwhelmed when lots of people visit at one time. I made a change to the settings yesterday and apparently one of them caused this weird behavior. When I got up I noticed the problem with today's post, figured out the problem with the help of my host (InMotion Hosting for those who are curious) and reset the supercache program. Problem solved!
